Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of ocho.day, the Ocho iOS app, referral links, subscriptions, lifetime purchase, and related product communications.

Using The Site

You may use the website or iOS app to define a goal, build a Goal Stack, choose three weekly Dominoes, record check-ins, review Drift, and access Ocho Pro when purchased. You must use Ocho lawfully and in a way that does not disrupt, attack, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ocho. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the site only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Availability And Accounts

Ocho is available at ocho.day and through the Apple App Store where Apple makes it available. Ocho may change features, pricing, referral mechanics, and availability over time.

You must verify an account with Sign in with Apple before Ocho sends a request to its AI planning provider. Ocho uses Apple's identity token to link the account and does not receive or store your Apple password. Your goal interview remains on your device if sign-in does not finish.

One successful initial AI-generated plan is free for each verified account. Creating multiple or false accounts, using bots or scripts, or otherwise trying to evade that limit is prohibited. Ocho may block requests or accounts used to evade service limits.

Referrals

Historical waitlist members may have referral links. Referral counts help Ocho understand demand and acquisition sources.

Do not use bots, scripts, fake email addresses, purchased traffic, spam, or other abusive methods to manipulate referral counts. Ocho may remove or adjust waitlist entries or referral counts that appear abusive, fraudulent, or technically invalid.

Purchases And Subscriptions

Ocho is free to download. Ocho Pro may be offered as a weekly subscription, yearly subscription, or lifetime non-consumable in-app purchase. In the United States, the current prices are $6.99 weekly, $39.99 yearly, and $79.99 lifetime. Final storefront pricing, taxes, renewal terms, and payment terms are shown by Apple before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple Account settings directly from Ocho's Settings screen. Ocho does not require contacting support or completing a retention flow to reach that control. Apple shows purchase, renewal, and any trial terms before confirmation and manages billing notices. Refund requests are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. The website does not process checkout or collect payment card details.

Communications

If you joined the waitlist, requested support, or opted into product updates, you may receive emails about Ocho. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe method included in those emails or by contacting us. Transactional or support messages may still be sent when needed to respond to your request.

AI Stack Generation

After you accept the in-product notice and verify your account, Ocho sends your planning answers and relevant context through its server to Anthropic to produce a Goal Stack, roadmap, and three suggested Dominoes. Ocho Pro can later send evidence you choose to save so Anthropic can propose a versioned change. Ocho does not replace your accepted plan automatically. You approve, edit, or reject each proposed change. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for deciding which actions to take and using your own judgment before relying on a recommendation.

Without Ocho Pro, your accepted goal, route, three weekly actions, check-in, evidence, manual edits, and review history remain available. Ocho Pro covers continued AI interpretation of saved evidence and proposed plan revisions.

Do not use Ocho for emergency response or to plan self-harm, violence, illegal conduct, or another person's exploitation. If you may act on thoughts of suicide or self-harm, call emergency services. In the United States or its territories, call or text 988.

Intellectual Property

The site, copy, design, logos, media, and Ocho product materials are owned by Ocho or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them commercially without permission, except as allowed by law.

Third-Party Services

The site depends on third-party services for hosting, analytics, and data storage. Those services may have their own terms and policies. Ocho is not responsible for third-party websites that are linked from the site.

No Professional Advice

Ocho is a productivity product. The site, app, AI output, and lifecycle messages do not provide legal, financial, medical, psychological, or other professional advice.

Disclaimer

The site and app are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Ocho does not promise that the site, app, AI generation, analytics, purchases, or integrations will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available in every territory.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Ocho will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the site or app.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product develops. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Your continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
